New Transit Shelters in the City of Philadelphia

In 2015, the City and their concessionaire, Intersection, began a 20-year street furniture contract. As part of this contract, existing bus shelters are to be replaced with a newly designed shelter and approximately 300 new shelters will be added to the system.
The new locations for these shelters are based on ridership and proximity to facilities, such as senior centers, shopping centers, community centers and hospitals, along with feedback from our online voting process.

Check out the map to see where the newly designed shelters have been installed.
